As evacuating people come to Austin looking for shelter, so do evacuating pets. The Town Lake Animal Shelter is preparing for the influx of animals brought by families. Shelter volunteers and those with the organization pets America are trying a new shelter that allows owners to stay with their pets.

“Set for pets” Volleyball Tournament Raises Money for Lincoln County Humane Society (WSAW Wausau)
Sixteen teams hit the volleyball court in Merrill Saturday night in the “Set for pets” Tournament. Proceeds from the event went to benefit the Lincoln County Humane Society.
